Zhang said that SME is the cornerstone of Sino-German economic and social development and both sides pay high attention to the cooperation between SMEs. There is strong complementarity and huge cooperative potential for businesses between the two sides.
The exchange and development between SMEs has been backbone of the Sino-German economic and trade relations and has drawn great attention from the governments, said Zhang Feng.
Shandong, especially its capital Jinan, has made a big push on carrying forward the Belt and Road Initiative and vigorously implementing the Outline for Sino-German Cooperative Action in recent years, said Zhang Feng. The annual Sino-German SME Cooperation and Communication Conference has become a strong impetus in promoting pragmatic cooperation with Germany and other European countries in management, technology, equipment, capital and talent.
“We hope the conference can be a platform to help the SMEs of the two sides to broaden the cooperative field, bring forth more new ideas in cooperative manner and facilitate the cooperation and innovation between “Made in China 2025” and German Industry 4.0 to bring greater cooperative fruits for SMEs,” said Zhang.
